Mission

Mission Statement: Portland Adventist Community Services follows Christ’s example in nourishing body, mind and spirit. We are committed to being an avenue of God’s love and care as we foster dignity among those we serve.

The primary objective for PACS is to provide open, accessible private care at the community level for those who have slipped through the cracks in governmental programs. Without this care, low income people tend to lose hope and are less able to find the strength to move on with their lives. PACS is here at the end of the month when other resources have run out. PACS works in conjunction with, but separate from federal and state human services programs.
