Do you give cash assistance? We are sorry that our budget does not allow us to give any kind of cash assistance. Please call the United Way Referral Line to find out who is giving the type of cash assistance you need at 211.
Can I volunteer at PACS if I'm not a Seventh-day Adventist? Absolutely. We gladly accept any application. Each will be screened to see if the applicants are able to meet the job criteria. We find that people are most comfortable working here if they have some Christian background, but this is not necessary.
Will you help me if I'm not a Seventh-day Adventist? Of course. All are welcome regardless of religious beliefs, ethnic origin, age, gender, or geographic location.

What does a person need to do in order to get help? If you need medical help, call 503.252.8500 ext 109. We serve those with no access to health insurance of any kind and who meet certain income guidelines.
If you need food you may come in anytime Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Please bring evidence of address (needs to show residence in the state of Oregon) and be prepared to tell us the names and birthdates of any other household members you also want to take home food for. Also, be prepared to tell us what your household income is. You may be eligible if you meet certain income guidelines. All are welcome regardless of religious beliefs, ethnic origin, age, or gender.
Can I get help obtaining medications? We are sorry we have no prescription medication available, nor do we have the ability to provide money to help with medications.
