Do you give cash assistance?—We are sorry that our budget does not allow us to give any kind of cash assistance. Please call the United Way Referral Line to find out who is giving the type of cash assistance you need at 211.
Can I volunteer at PACS if I’m not a Seventh-day Adventist?—Absolutely. We gladly accept any application. Each will be screened to see if the applicants are able to meet the job criteria. We find that people are most comfortable working here if they have some Christian background, but this is not necessary.
Will you help me if I’m not a Seventh-day Adventist?—Of course. All are welcome regardless of religious beliefs, ethnic origin, age, gender, or geographic location.

What does a person need to do in order to get help?—If you need medical help, call 503.252.8500 ext 109. We serve those with no access to health insurance of any kind and who meet certain income guidelines.
If you need food you may come in anytime Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Please bring your photo ID, along with some form of ID for each family member, proof of address, and if you have any household income, something to show how much. You may be eligible if you meet certain income guidelines. All are welcome regardless of religious beliefs, ethnic origin, age, gender, or geographic location.
Can I get help obtaining medications?—We are sorry we have no prescription medication available, nor do we have the ability to provide money to help with medications.
